Module 1. Circular Economy
Information

About this training
The circular economy (CE) provides a promising way to create more value in the industry by simultaneously addressing resource constraints, consumer benefits, and profitability challenges. However, the transition from a linear to a circular economy requires significant changes at all levels from innovation in the business model and value chain to the introduction of supporting policies and the furniture and wood sector cannot be laggard.
The current state of knowledge from CE shows that the existing curricula at different educational levels (EQF 4, 5 and 6) have different knowledge gaps. Therefore, the ALLVIEW project developed the following training materials to solve skills gaps with an innovative approach to modernise vocational education and training:
- Unit 1: Circular Economy
- Unit 2: Waste - new opportunities to create
- Unit 3: Eco-design
- Unit 4: New business models
Each unit is composed of different slides, pictures, videos, interactive games, external resources and multiple-choice questions to allow you to learn while assessing your knowledge. You can find more details about the topics included in each unit and the links to access training materials below.
Moreover, do not miss the section 'Document Library' which contains additional resources and reports associated with this topic and will allow you to learn even more.
Are you ready to take the plunge toward a more circular and green furniture and wood industry?
